jus as reminder in case I forgot I already haf these items ;) & buy again!

It was considerably huge accomplishment since I managed to remove those non-Kitty stuff from the cabinet & put in those LD items..
Next, is to bring those recent LD stuff from my hubby's place

Went for a makeover session @ Isetan Shaw
by RMK on Saturday.
The makeup artist is Fujii san..
Throughout the entire 1 1/2hrs session,
I learnt more abt makeup & skincare than I've ever known ;)
Very clear step-by-step explanation,
and questions to understand my makeup habits,
of coz, the translation was well-done by a very lovely girl,
whom I forgot to get her name..
I chose the nude/ neutral look,
with gold eyeshadow and loads of mascara ;D
The base+foundation was really well done,
enhancing the eyes and cheekbone areas!
I'm so going to practice till I perfect that look!

I had wanted to get a haircut,
mainly to trim the fringe
coz it was all getting in the way..
It was an impromptu decision to step into the salon though,
but so far,
the experience was satisfying.
Adam did a scalp analysis for me,
but was the condition of my scalp
that totally freaked me out!
Clogged follicles, oily scalp, less-than-average hair density!!!
Yucks!!!
Scared the shit out of me!
Looks like REDKEN products ain't suitable for me!
Well, though Adam did recommend some products,
he wasn't pushy at all!
I can't stand those hard-sell methods~
I asked him how long does it take to know whether
a hair product is effective..
He said estimated 2 weeks..
So I told him that I've just started on NIOXIN Scalp Therapy,
& he told me to come back again in 2 weeks' time,
for another scalp scan,
to check the condition & effectiveness..
Sigh...
One problem after another~
Anyway, gotta diligently do some scalp care
& hope for the best in 2 weeks' time!

The tribute was organized by Gold 90.5FM.
Turnout may not be as spectacular as the memorial but being surrounded with loads of MJ fans meant something..
It was a night of reminiscence,
of looking back in time
& finally moving on with the spirit of the
ever-reigning King of Pop, Michael Jackson!
There were breathtaking, heartstopping acts by various performers throughout the whole tribute.
It was a sea of Black & White,
as MJ's fans flood ZIRCA dressed in these 2 colours~
Then there was the heartwrenching finale,
with Vanessa leading the crowd in Heal The World.
My fave song from MJ..
And it truly is like the national song of every part of the world
coz everyone seems to know the lyrics by heart!

Culture shock coz it's my first time participating in an LD with so many people!

Woke up around 8:30am, Saturday morning :)
All ready to embark on my new project!
Glad my darling participated so actively~
Target No.1 : Change our bed's direction
Target No.2 : Change & wash our bedsheets
Target No.3 : Relocate the small bedside cabinets
Target No.4 : Relocate TV
Target No.5 : Mop the floor
(not in sequence)
We moved all the little cabinets (including the TV & its rack)
out of our room to make way for adjusting our Queen-sized bed
(looks more like King-sized coz our room ain't huge.. hehe*)..
I realized I REALLY have alot of nitbits here & there :P
After moving all the cabinets out, I swept our room
using Kao Magic Mop (a must-have in every household) & Darling Hubby mopped the floor.
We then shifted our heavy storage bed to its new location :D
In came one little cabinet by our bed to put my Hello Kitty phone & display cabinet..
Next up is the TV rack & finally, the drawer unit..
Done!
& we still managed to display Darling Hubby's Chip 'N Dale collectibles! Yippee!
Now our room looks more spacious..

Finally it was 26 Feb..
grabbed a cab (fare was $6.40) from my workplace to ViVoCity Tangs M.A.C. counter
all for the pre-orders from the collection.
Why the rush?
I jolly well could have waited till after work
But I was specifically given the impression by one of their staff
That I have a good chance of getting one of the limited entry passes
to the Hello Kitty collection's launch party (co-organized by STYLE mag)..
Well, can imagine how dumbfounded I was
when another lady told me otherwise..
Said the first 50 customers will be selected by STYLE and not M.A.C...
so THIS is definitely not the same info I was given earlier last week!
I mean, if the selection is done by STYLE,
how in the first will the other gal even know I'd get a good chance?!?!?!
She's psychic or wat?
Then again, if two of them can't give the same info,
there's got to be someone with the correct version :P
Anyway, still placed my orders for few items
(coz I'm ever such a Hello Kitty fan)...
so exciting!
Looking forward to collecting my purchases on 07 Mar! Ha!
